jack = bankrupt
Apple-Xnet.com reports that infamous Mac accessory vendor Jack Campbell's company DVForge is filing for bankruptcy (a volume of info on his sordid history and reputation for misdirection can be found here), and it doesn't surprise me one whit- in fact I'd expected this would have occurred years ago after his "misunderstanding" while marketing Green Design Furniture's proprietary designs as his own, or perhaps his public sour grapes after getting tagged for copyright-infinging DLO's TransPod dock/FM transmitter. In my opinion, Jack's just another two-bit scam artist going under due to the weight of his own bullshit- one can only wonder how he'll try to spin this recent setback in his own favor given the slippery double-talk he's spouted in the past.
Read into it and do the math/make the call yourself if you're inclined- but watch out for the variety of identity confusion and veiled shills you'll undoubtedly encounter floating around in Jack Campbell's sordid universe - I highly suggest starting with the link/references on Macintouch noted earlier, as I find that resource relatively unbiased and quite comprehensive.
